Lighthill Risk Network partner organisations are home to the world’s leading researchers and innovators in the world of risk-related research.
Partner organisations include those involved in research in government, university departments/centers, and private companies. They represent institutions which recognize the fundamental importance of communicating and applying their science to the private sector and government, for the benefit of all.
Partner organisations will each have a ‘Bio’ page on our public website, which they can use to promote their risk-related expertise, projects, initiatives, leading publications, and research highlights, to the wider Lighthill Risk Network community. Each organisation must nominate a key Lighthill Risk Network contact person, and ensure that their Bio-page is up-to-date.
Individual researchers within partner organisations may register as a member, attracting all the benefits of aLighthill Risk Network partner. From April 2007, partner organisation members can log-in to the members-onlyLighthill Risk Network website which will provide a unique platform to facilitate and encourage discussion across and within communities interested in Risk.
As theLighthill Risk Network is all about personal contacts, partner organisations can register to attend and participate in our seminars, workshops, conferences and study groups. These events will provide an invaluable opportunity to meet face-to-face with leading professionals in science, business, government, research councils, and professional bodies, on topics of mutual interest relating to Risk.
