Scientific members of the Lighthill Risk Network represent individual researchers from university departments, government, and private companies that bring their expertise and research to the network. Becoming a member opens the gateway to endless opportunities to exchange ideas, promote your research, and develop contacts in science, the private sector and government.
Individuals belonging to the Lighthill Risk Networkpartner organisations are automatically eligible to becomeLighthill Risk Networkmembers upon registration, gaining the spectrum of benefits attracted to Lighthill Risk Networkpartners. Individual researchers not within a Lighthill Risk Network partner organisation, can also become members. In this case, membership is conditional upon approval by the Lighthill Risk Network team. This procedure ensures the scientific credibility of our members.
Being aLighthill Risk Network scientific member, allows active participation in the network. With a log-in to the private Lighthill Risk Networkwebsite, you will have access to view and contribute to our topics database and data libraries, upload recent and pending publications, participate in discussion boards and online interest groups, and utilise our advanced collaboration-fostering website tools which include information searches, online conferencing and private working areas. Membership also enables you to register for events, including seminars, conferences, workshops, study groups and receive our newsletters and quarterly journal.
Individuals may also join as Lighthill Risk Network ‘contacts’, a form of membership that is open to anyone. By registering as a contact, you can keep up-to-date with the Lighthill Risk Network events, activities, and news highlights.
