The Catlin Syndicate at Lloyd's (Syndicate 2003) carries on the Group's historic base at Lloyd's of London, where Catlin is recognised as a leading underwriter of numerous classes of business. The Catlin Syndicate is one of the 10 largest syndicates at Lloyd's in terms of premium capacity.

Catlin Bermuda began underwriting in 2002 and has quickly become a leading source of property and casualty reinsurance as well as specialty insurance products in the Bermuda market.

Catlin UK specialises in underwriting property and casualty coverages for smaller to medium size UK and European commercial clients. It also writes all lines of business underwritten by the Catlin Group in London.

A fourth underwriting platform, Catlin US, is currently being established and will begin underwriting specialty insurance for US policyholders during 2006.

Catlin also operates international offices in the UK, US, Canada, Germany Belgium, Guernsey, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. The offices allow Catlin to work more closely with regional brokers and their clients.
