Dr Mike Hogh joined the BP Group as a research physicist in 1965. Following this, he worked in a variety of other research-related posts. In 1979 he moved to the Company’s Group Safety Centre to set up a centre of expertise in Quantified Risk Assessment. Mike retired in 1999 as Head; Safety, Fire and Risk Management, and shortly thereafter joined the TSUNAMI Initiative as research coordinator.
Mike is now a director of The Risk Group and also consults on risk management for BP. He was for several years a Visiting Fellow at Aston University and is currently an external lecturer at Delft University.
