The Lighthill Risk Network is a not-for-profit organisation, whihc brings together scientific research worldwide, industry (initially Insurance), government and third party organisations in exchanging risk-related expertise.

The specific aim of the network is to facilitate and enhance knowledge transfer into business, from academic, government, professional and commercial experts at the forefront of risk-related research. We promote personal contacts, and foster relationships between Industry and researchers through problem-focused contact calls from business subscribers to our ‘Risk Fellows’, and between Lighthill Risk Network members in general. This is achieved via state-of-the-art dynamic website services, newsletters, and a multitude of events open to industry, science and third party members, including workshops, seminars, conferences, study groups and interest groups.
